Named for the highest traditional title in Igbo society — conferred not by inheritance but by demonstrated integrity, earned across a lifetime and then carried into permanence — NZE is a monumental presence study of what authority looks like when it has stopped performing. The face is treated as a ceremonial interface: its crown structure operating as a signal band for status, memory, and inherited power; the gold radiating not from surface application but from within the planes of the face itself, as though rank has become a physical condition rather than an assigned position. This is Culture-Tech at architectural scale — leadership encoded as field, not figure.
